Decorative Bowls

A personalized gourd bowl is a wonderful gift idea for your loved one. Just let me know a little bit about the person you are shopping for, and I will incorporate something they love into the bowl.

Things to consider:

I can make your gourd and your design just about any color you’d like!!! You can also think about the inside of the bowl as well! I can also just add a wax coating to the gourd and not add color so the natural colors shine through!

Would you like it to have a lid?

If you would like it to have a lid… it may add to the cost, but it will also add to options for the design work. Here are a couple examples of gourds with lids.

How big do you want it to be?

I have gourds that are a few inches wide all the way up to 15″ wide or so, and many in between! I can order huge gourds if that’s what you are searching for – you’ll just have to allow for more time for me to get the size you desire. There are also a variety of shapes. Take a look at my gallery for ideas. (Prices increase with the size of the gourd.)

Think about the rim... pine needles, leather...other?

If you don’t go with a lid, there are many options for trimming the rim! I can embellish the rim with pine needles, rope, leather, beads, leather lacing, or just leave it smooth! Here a just a few examples…
